Toddler English Guide
Ms. Andrea moved to San Diego from Cancún, México in 2019 in order to complete the AMI training course at the Montessori Institute of San Diego (MISD). Having grown up with a really big family on her mom's side, Ms. Andrea knew she always liked being around children. She created her own daycare for her cousin’s children.
In the summer of 2022, Ms. Andrea spent five weeks volunteering at a low-income school in Arusha, Tanzania where she taught English to children ages 11-14 years old.
Ms. Andrea worked in a traditional preschool in Mexico for two years prior to moving to San Diego. Ms. Andrea’s joined the LJMS family in 2020. She began working at LJMS as a toddler guide; and has fallen in love with guiding our youngest children. She believes the Montessori Method is the best way for the child to grow and accomplish all that they are capable of.
In her free time, Ms. Andrea enjoys nature, going out for walks, hiking, running, and spending time at the beach. She also really enjoys painting and discovering places to visit in San Diego.
